Multi-award winning poet & spoken word artist

Taleabong Boris Alemnge

Bearing the government name Taleambong Boris Alemnge, Penboy is the stage name given to this phenomenal laureate of Law and Political Sciences. But more to this;

Penboy became a household name because he is a Poet, and a Spoken Word Artist par excellence: he’s an Activist, Artivist, Humanitarian, Community builder and a serial Expressionist based in Buea; the South West Region of Cameroon.

He is 23 years old, unmarried and has been in this field for 5 years and counting, having both national and international accolades to show for.

He assumed the stage name ‘Penboy’ at the start of his career as a Spoken Word Artist/Poet, back in the year 2017. After falling prey not once nor twice, but several times with near-death experiences from the aftermath of the outbreak of the Anglophone crisis. Poetry was what gave him solace and healed his post traumatic stress disorder.

More like finding love in a hopeless place.

Today, Penboy uses Spoken Word Poetry as a catalyst for change in the Political and Sociocultural domain to weather the storms plaguing our society(ies).

Penboy is multifaceted as he proves to be a flexible leader by not limiting his coast. Haven worked with _ _ _, he mentors creatives who are looking to take up space and fully assume their role(s) in the creative industry.

If there is a world to heal, its healer is the poet who speaks.
