Cameroonian spoken word artist and artivist PenBoy delivered a moving performance on world peace at the 33rd Congress of the Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians of Cameroon (SOGOC), held at Sawa Hotel, Douala, in the presence of the Governor of the Littoral Region.
Performing before medical doctors, scientists, and distinguished professionals from across Cameroon, PenBoy used poetry to highlight the connection between peace, humanity, and the preservation of life.

His performance offered a powerful reminder that peace extends beyond the absence of war. It encompasses safe communities, human dignity, access to healthcare, and the conditions that allow individuals and families to thrive.
In a gathering dedicated to advancing healthcare, the message underscored a shared responsibility: protecting life requires not only medical expertise but also compassion, collective responsibility, and a commitment to human well-being.
As the only performing artist among the congress participants, PenBoy demonstrated how spoken word can contribute to professional and institutional conversations, bringing an artistic perspective to issues that affect society at every level.
The performance reflects his broader mission of using art as a tool for peacebuilding, dialogue, and social transformation, reaffirming his belief that poetry can be more than an expression of beauty — it can be a voice for humanity.
